Do Samsung and Panasonic typically lower their prices at any time during the year, for example in the fall?
I don't want to wait till black friday or Xmas, bit just wondering if anyone has noticed any normal price changes as the seasons change!

you could use something like this to research

that link is the price history on amazon for a Panasonic VIERA TC-P55ST30 55-Inch 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV. it's gone up $200 since it was introduced, but you can look up any amazon product i believe.

Might also be able to compare camelcamelcamel price tracking for a 2011 vs 2012 model.

AFIAK, however, that is strictly a One Model / One Year at a time operation.....

I put pn51d7000 and 8000 in this, very interesting.

Looks like the big price drops were from black friday thru Xmas.

But I don't really want to wait that long!
