Piano Plus upgrade?

Hi,

I'm currently trialling the Plus Piano, but I hear there's going to be an upgrade or new model from Plus soon? Anyone have more info on this?

I need to make up my mind on the Piano in a couple of days, and I'm pretty much sold on it...but if there's an improved model for not much more money coming out in 2-3 months...

Hi Joe,
don't expect anything out before Christmas. Yet, it is only rumors, nothing confirmed so far. If there is a new home theater optimized model by PLUS it will certainly be in the 5k range rather than in the 3k rage like the Piano. I have good information from the European head quarters in Duesseldorf.

Keep the rest of us Piano owners informed on how you get along with your new purchase. It's nice to see more Piano posts. There's nohting like it out there.

Jim,

Will do. I was going to wait till I moved into my new house in July before getting the Piano, but thought I would take advantage of the 10 day trial.

So far, it's been great, even though I'm only projecting onto a white wall (so light spill is noticeable). Watching Toy Story 2 was awesome. If only I could crank up the sound volume (I'm in an apartment currently)...:)

Joe...sounds like you've decided to keep the Piano? Hopefully you received my response to your PM. Can I also suggest that you post some of the more technical questions I was unable to answer. There are folks far more knowledgeable than I in this forum...that's what makes it so great.

Gene,

I got your pm - thanks. I am going to keep the Piano. Like you said, it's one of the few pjs with rarely any technical problems.

Huey answered some of my aspect ratio questions in another pm. Now I'm looking for a suitable screen for when I move into my new house!
