Thanks for replying.
At present the PC on which runs Netflix (in Firefox) is connected through HDMI to the TV (input 2). The TV is configured in the PC as a second monitor and this works.
The TV is a Panasonic TC-P65GT30. Its HDMI Input 1 supports the ARC feature. This is the input to which the Denon AVR is connected. All TV inputs support HDMI 1.4 but only one supports ARC, says the specification, at:

As I understand your questions, you mean the recovering of the sound sent by the PC to the TV, by sending it further to the AVR. I gave this idea a thought but I found it somehow convoluted (maybe also because it sounds complicated to me).
I have the impression that the obvious method to do the things is to connect the PC, through HDMI, to the AVR (the distribution center of the whole A/V system, isn't it?) and:
- to use the pass-through HDMI function of the AVR to send the signals to the TV
- to recover in the AVR the sound coming from the PC and to send it to the speaker system
It looks maybe obvious, but I haven't found something in the documentation about how to do it.
