Improving contrast and sharpness on your projector

Not everybody goes to the video processor threads, so I thought that I would start a thread here in the projector forums so that others could be made aware of this neat little device. Rather than explain all about it I will provide a link to the Widescreen review of the Darbee and a link to the Darbee thread.

How is a post in the Front Projection section by AV Science Sales promoting a video processor anything other than marketing? Considering AV Science Sales, sell the thing.

Who said it wasn't?

Well, it's our sponsor so it's their rights. The reviews were not by AVS, but other folks and members.

Besides, it's such a hot product that it's on back order.

I like a heads-up on any good information and don't care who tells me to look up.
I had never heard of this product and I am glad you let me know about it.
Fun to read about it, even if I do or don't buy one.

I'm curious, I'd like to see this thing in action.

I was glad to have this information passed on to me as well, and after looking over all the input from members here, I ordered one. Thanks AVS

You are welcome. Of all places on the forum, where I thought that there would be an interest in this product, I thought that it would be here and since many of the buyers in this forum do not visit the Video processor threads, they would never know about this product. Most three panel LCD projectors can use some help in the sharpening department and every projector could use boost in contrast. Heck increasing sharpness and/or contrast is a positive for any projector.

@Mike - Could Darblet help a cheap 3LCD projector like Epson705HD with its poor black levels and contrast? I own 705HD and would like to hold off any upgrade, if Darblet helps me generate a good 2D picture through 705HD.
