Speaker finish help for rosewood veneer.

Hi all, I just pulled the trigger on all the parts for my speaker build. I have the rosewood veneer in the attachment coming my way.
This is my first attempt at a high quality stain job. I want a similar color to the paradigm speaker linked below. Does anyone know of good brands of stain? Or should I use a dye? And if I use a dye, will I still be able to see the nice wood grain in it?
If anyone can point me to something that is a really good guide to finishing wood that would be great. I really want them to shine.

Your veneer is too nice to stain, :-) You may want to just use someform of enhancers prior to finishin to make the grain pop out. There are some oils (Tung Oil is one of them) that are applied prior to finishing to enhanced the grain, but some of them takes weeks to dry.

Besides that Paradigms color is getting too pedestrian. I think most "Rosewood" finish is made with inexpensive veneer and stained to look like rosewood (There are several types of rosewood, ranging from brown color to deep red)
