Need Advice/Help connecting Onkyo Tx-Nr708 to Klipsch Rw-12D

I know this should be really simple, but these manual make it difficult to understand, .. My Receiver has 2 plugs for Subwoofer, One is white and the other is Black and white.... Are both of them the same signal? for saying Connecting 2 subs? or is the White one Different then the black and white one?


The sub has a Line in R and L ... Which one do i connect the Onkyo to? white to R or White to L?? or White to R and white/black to L??? confused.gif



I have some Mono Price Single Rca cables , Is only one needed per Sub?

Your receiver has one subwoofer output only. It's marked "SUBWOOFER" and it's located in the "PRE-OUT" grouping of outputs.

Run a cable from that output to which ever input on the sub the owner's manual tells you to connect to. Odds are it's either the left, or the right, or both. (If both, just use a Y-splitter to split the connection from the cable into two, then plug into both the left and right inputs on the sub.)

ok , the sub seems to say its the LEFT ,

What is the Pre-OUT under the SUBWOOFER (white) thats black and white?

My bad - it appears that your AVR has two subwoofer outputs (the one I mentioned earlier - directly below the "SUBWOOFER" label - and the one immediately below that one). Use either output (but not both outputs) to connect to your one subwoofer.
