We had a storm last night and some water came in through the roof and dripped down inside the wall the TV is mounted to. I turned it on and didn't get a picture. Eventually I ended up pulling out the wall plates and the connector between the HDMI cable and the key stone was wet. Once I got the connectors dried, I tried a different TV and could get a picture but the TV on the wall isn't doing anything on the HDMI port. My theory is that the water shorted out the HDMI port on the TV when it got wet but I don't know if that would actually happen from a technical standpoint. Anybody know? Thanks.
