You'll probably hear this a lot but sharing settings between sets is not recommended because of component tolerances from set to set, even within the exact same model. You also have to take into consideration the viewing environment which has a lot to do with overall pq. What looks good on one set can look like crap on another and create a very confusing situation (is it me, my set, or what?). I suggest getting a calibration disk such as AVS HD709 (free), WoW, Spears & Munsil, etc and at least setting the basics; contrast, brightness, sharpness, aspect, etc. That will go a long way in improving pq. Your set won't be calibrated (can't do that without meters) but at least it will have an Accurate Picture Adjustment based on standards.
