Xantech IR zone setup with HDMI Extender

Hello,

I'm designing my home video distribution setup and will be utilizing a simple 4x4 HDMI Matrix switch with 4 HDBaseT HDMI Extenders w/IR to each TV. I think I have the AV portion of the design figured out but I'm stuck on the IR distribution. I will be utilizing Xantech 4 zone connecting block (for future zones), but will only require 2 zones initially. My issue is how to get the IR from the HDBaseT extender to the Xantech connection block? Since the extender provides it's own powered emmiter, how would I interface this to the Xantech block that provides it's own powered receiver?

Could anybody shed some light on how to integrate an HDMI Extender w/IR into a Xantech IR connecting block?

Thanks!

Brian

What brand, Intelix? The solution may lie in using an alternative brand of switch which allows pass-through of the IR... from their you can then feed into a connecting block of need be.
