I've never had to purchase a low budget tv before, but I'm on disability, and so I took the plunge with truly what I could afford. My HDMI Inputs are connected to Directv, a Samsung Blu-Ray player, and Roku. I currently have nothing else connected. At first I thought I was going to be taking this set back. The Insignia looked way too HOT coming out of the box and the Whites were bleeding. Now, after calibrating this TV, it looks quite good for a very low budget purchase. I now can truly say, I'm enjoying watching it. Please, let me know if you have better calibration software. Mine is a number of years old. If you do so, I'd be interested in hearing your settings.
Enjoy.
