Can CU10 halogen can lights be dimmed by a Lutron MAW600H-WH switch?

If you mean GU-10 base 120V halogen lamps, yes. As far as the dimmer knows, they are just the same as 120V incandescent lamps...because they are incandescent.

Yes they can (assuming you meant GU-10 Halogen bulbs). Halogens are filament based and should dim just like an incandescent. However, because halogens burn the filament hotter they depend on the tungsten being re-deposited on the filament to achieve a reasonable lifespan. It's for that reason that they shouldn't be used at 60% or less levels for sustained periods. That will shorten their life significantly.
