Need help choosing VT65 GT 65 or ST65 Panasonic

I am looking to get a 65". There are 3 choices in the Panasonic line. I have a 50" and will stay with Panasonic.
The room that will house the TV has no windows. Until I turn on the lights it is dark. I have low level lighting.I am not interested in 3D but it looks like it is there on all 3 sets. ST , GT , VT. Money is a concern. What set and features would be best.

ADD: I have a HTPC,Roku,Marantz reciever and Comcast cable.

I do not care about Internet. Sound goes to Marantz so TV speakers are set to OFF. I set custom viewing settings as I never like presets.A quirk I guess.

The TV will act as a monitor so I want good picture.

Thank You

If it's going to be used as a PC monitor you're better off with a LCD due to plamas IR issues, and if money is a concern... then get the cheaper set.

I did not mean as a computer monitor. I meant as a viewing device. It does not need to produce sound or go o the internet or do anything except be a TV and a good one at that. I do view Blu ray and DVD and watch TV.

TV's make lousy computer monitors IMO.

Gotcha... then the ST50 is the "best bang for the buck". But, really it's all up to you and what you need/want and how much you're looking to spend.

I would go ST50, depending on how may inputs you need you might want to look at the UT50 also, very good performance in a light controlled room but only has 2 hdmi slots.

Out of these sets, I would definitely go for the ST50 - it has the best quality and features for its price. The VT50 doesn't offer much more for the extra cost, but you can look into getting a reasonable deal for either of these sets.

I only need 1 HDMI. everything I have plugs into the receiver. The receiver plugs into the TV.
I am down to the GT or the ST. Is the picture the same between these 2 sets.

Yes the picture quality is reported to be the same, the GT offers an additional HDMI input, a dual core CPU for faster internet apps, a different cabinet style, and extra picture menu modes.
But if calibrated in the custom picture mode, the ST picture is excellent.
If you only need 2 HDMI, the even lower cost UT50 models are a choice too, though they don't have the anti-glare screen coating, but in a dark and light controlled viewing environment thats fine too.
