Philips blu ray player audio not supported

Hi,

I have connected my 2tb WD hard drive and trying to play some HSBS 3d movies on my plasma. Although the blu ray player plays the video in 3D, it gives me a message saying audio not supported. Can anyone help me get around this please? the blu ray player is connected to my Pioneer AVR which in turn is connected to the TV - all by HDMI. Thx in advance for all your help!

Just to clarify. hard drive that has the 3d hsbs video files connected thru USB to my philips blu ray player which in turn is connected to my avr which is finally connected to my tv
