Antra PAU18 Preamp

Since the original CM7777 preamp has been replaced, I am still looking for a replacement model with similar low noise specs. I only need UHF, so I am considering the Antra PAU18 version with 28db gain and the same low noise figure of 2.0. This is a UHF amp with the same 28db gain of the Winegard 4800, but the Winegard has a higher noise figure. Any info or reviews of this Antra preamp? Thanks.

Yea I know Winegard has the AP4800, which also has a 28db gain. But its specs say the noise figure is 2.8, whereas the Antra is 2.0. I know Winegard is good quality, just wondering about this Antra I stumbled across. And I know those Antennas Direct preamps could be decent as well, as the CPA19 gets good reviews, but their PA18 you mentioned may have a slightly better noise figure. I inquired about them in another thread but did not receive much response.

I did speak to Antennas Direct, and they gave me a favorable response, as was to be expected. And basically provided me the same info as on their website. So I am simply conducting thorough research and seeking real world experience and reviews from experts on this forum. Just seeking a second opinion. For example, this forum helped me to learn that the original CM7777 was recommended, and that Radioshack amps should be avoided. May not be true for all people, but nevertheless some guidance to consider.
