Denon AVR-591 Issue

My Denon AVR-591 recently stopped outputting Audio to my 5.1 speakers. Video can still run through the receiver, but no Audio. I have tried resetting the system, checking connections, output settings, etc. Just about everything. Has anyone encountered this issue with this model before? If so, how did you fix it?

Hi programgames, try blowing compressed air into headphone jack or plug/unplug a headphone into the jack a few times.

Hi JChin... I just tried that and no luck. While the receiver was working properly, I would hear two clicks when first turning the receiver on. The clicks were about 3 seconds apart. Since the receiver has been malfunctioning, the two clicks have changed. The first click sounds normal, but the second click sounds muted, like it is only half clicking. An odd description, but hopefully an indication of what the larger issue might be?

Try resetting the microprocessor a few more times as well as more blasts of air to the H/P jack. If you have a set of headphones, will audio pass to them when connected to the H/P jack? If still no joy, you're likely still under the 2 year warranty period. Check Denon's website for any authorized repair centers in your local area.
