I've got an 8300 HD DVR through Cox cable with Passport firmware(or is it software?). My problem is when I use the reminder function to remind me of a program coming on, the audio switches from 5.1 to 2ch. If I don't tune into the channel on the 1 minute before reminder, the program has started reminder switches back to 5.1. Basically, anytime a reminder pops up, the audio switches. In the settings, the audio setting never changes. Any ideas on what could be causing this, or what I can do to try and fix it. It's annoying to lose the 5.1, but it switching to 2ch results in a louder volume level, which is REALLY annoying. Thanks in advance!
