Sharp Aquos LC70LE836E 70"

Hi All,

Had my new Sharp 3DTV delivered yesterday, and set was a doddle, however, when watching a movie in the evening on dark scenes each of the four corners of the TV looked like a dim torch was shining from each corner towards the centre of the screen.

I tried reducing the backlight, contrast and brightness but this made no difference, any ideas anyone please.

I realise this is a very old post, but.. I received my set a month or so ago (I know, I'm a little behind the curve) and I have the exact same problem. A friend of mine has an identical set a couple of months older and it's nowhere near as noticeable on his set as it is on mine..

Very disappointing, really frown.gif

I'm tempted to see if Sharp will honour a warranty claim in the UK against this. Did you try anything like that with your set?
