Well, two issues:
*Abi is hyper-annoying. Putting up with her for two more weeks to use her as the goat might be too much.
*Abi has no idea when to shut up and even with the perfect goat, you have to be next to her at Final to benefit. With Abi's yapping, there is a high risk of her screwing up your conniving to get yourself and your pet goat to Final.

I can see the option of getting rid of the crazy girl. I would say Abi led her alliance in being mean and untrustworthy towards Lisa. Do you really want an alliance with her, and two weeks of having to guard your goat.

I'm surprised Denise jumped into the the Abi bash. I really don't see how there was anything to gain by piling on. But I guess Abi is just so irritating that Denise finally had to scratch the itch.

I did not hear it as piling on, although obviously Abi did. To me it seemed like Denise was illegitimately trying to explain to her, but Abi would NOT SHUT UP long enough to hear her.

Abi deserves to be stomped on, not piled on... she is oblivious to anyone but herself.

I brought this up during his first appearance....

I don't understand Penner refusing an alliance with Lisa and Skupin.I thought reality tv 101 is that if someone comes to you saying they want to be an alliance you agree even if you don't want that alliance. Because refusing puts a target on your back.Instead Penner told Lisa and Skupin he wanted to just go with the six and then decide. But there are always sub alliances within an alliance of five or six.For example Coach was in alliance of five from the beginning but the sub alliance to the end was with Sophie and Albert. Penner waiting to six is probably waiting too late. Malcolm made the smarter move by setting up a sub alliance of four before getting to six.

I think Penner is still gun-shy of being seen as dishonest which was label he given during his first season. And I do think he has approached this game in a one thing at a time fashion. Which almost cost him a quick exit earlier in the game.

Meanwhile in reality...Denise is mature, focused and rational and what she said is simply a truth. She, like most of us, will hold our tongue in a situation like that, but when we do have something to say, it won't be some rambling soliloquy. It will be the truth and within reason should be the final word, but someone like Abi hears nothing but what is in their own mind. Meanwhile in fantasy land Abi is immature, distracted, irrational and a lier who believes in non reality, which is scary. SHe really believes that what she thinks and says is right and real...meanwhile, loop again...Abi is immature, distracted, and irrational.

I agree with the immature, distracted and irrational. But she is not a liar because of what else you said "she really believes that what she thinks and says is real." The problem is that in her fantasy world, everyone is out to get her. RC came to her with the hidden immunity idol clue and she still didn't trust her and she turned that mistrust into hatred. She was so blinded by that hatred that she didn't stop to think about who else knew about the clue when it mysteriously revealed itself. Then she turned her paranoia on Lisa, the church lady that stayed with the alliance until Abi drove her away. I get the feeling that she makes up her mind whether she likes someone or not and then builds a case against them. I also get the feeling that she needs a lot of validation and probably gets it at home. When she found the idol, she said "I can't believe I found the idol!". Even though it was she and Pete that tore the camp apart looking for it. And her whole description of the last reward challenge to the starving people at camp was meant for everyone to say "That's so great. We're so happy for you.". As Denise said, she has no social skills. She's used to being coddled.

I'm still enjoying this season as the shitfing alliances keep producing some interesting results although there could be a Pagonging of the old Tandang alliance if Abi,Shupin and Lisa go after Pete and Artis, though that seems unlikely.
Unless there is a recrap episode coming up we might be headed for a finale with an F2 and nine person jury. Now that would be awesome as there are two pairs in Malcolm/Denise,Skupin/Lisa and eveyone else all over the place.
The tribal the other night would have been a perfect place to get rid of Malcolm as he is the biggest threat out there right now. I was hoping Skupin would flip again.
Penner wtf man? I'm going to have to watch the secret scenes to see if they shed any light on his decisions.
Lisa's emotional journey is starting to irritate me,please get rid of her.
Denise,I liked you for quite awhile but that nonsense at tribal about playing with the right people at the end sounded like Coach nonsense. Enjoy second or third sitting with Malcolm.
Carter: Keep smoking that weed boy,although it would be funny to see him Fabio his way into the final. The jury would be hilarious.
Skupin, I don't know what game you are playing here, I'm not sure I would want to be aligned with Malcolm/Denise.
Abnormal, you are so annoying nobody wants you as a goat.
Malcolm good job mostly staying out of the Abifest and deflecting that question about jury managment. We will see if everyone else lets you Kim your way to the end.

Hope so. I don't want her to win, but I wouldn't mind seeing her a couple more weeks. However, if she has a "Jury" bikini and wears it to Tribal Council that would be OK too. (Yes, I know I'm a dirty old man but don't tell anybody)

They don't need Abi to get rid of Malcolm and they only have two more tribals to blindside him and his idol. The sooner Abi is gone the better it will be. You can watch her and RC kill each other at Ponderosa.

Anybody understand what Malcolm's friend/relative says in the preview for next week? That was kinda strange . . .

I just became a huge fan of Penner, too bad its the day he got voted out. He is right to say keeping Malcolm and Denise is a bad idea.

It's too bad he didn't yell out "MALCOLM!" when he did his vote. Even though it was for Denise, it may have shaken him enough to play the idol...

Well, blow me down! It did happen.

Poor Penner, he played a good game, he had my vote or Denise. Now I am rooting for Denise. The show gave away what happened in the first minute. Soon as they showed Denise say, everything is good unless Abi wins immunity you immediatetly new Abi would win immunity.

Somehow that (person who absolutely needs it, wins immunity) happens more than you'd think.

That challenge seemed a little curious though. They make the 3rd leg totally different from the first 2? I wonder if the producers may have changed it to something Abi could win once they know she got the express pass to the final round?

Little fingers working on little strings, hmmm... I also wonder if the strings on Abi's section weren't tied quite as tightly as the ones for the ham-handed men. After all, the show is all about ratings.

Too bad the strings on that bikini bottom didn't... nevermind

There is almost always an immunity advantage in the Survivor auction so one of the six should have saved their money to bid on it for the team. I remember Jaison spending all his auction money for the immunity advantage in Samoa to help his alliance.He said then he wanted to step up and do something for his team. He also ended up winning immunity.I'm not sure why food was so important at this point in the game since all of the final six this season had been on at least one food reward.

So, I have to give Abi credit on one thing. That is unless she was instructed to say this by the producers.
That part where she said she couldn't compromise Jeff's position and lie about the clue, but added that it had 2 parts and only "chose" to read one of them. If she came up with that on her own, that was pretty slick. I'm betting that she was told she couldn't lie about it though.
