Pro : Definitely calibrates more precisely than Calman 4.
Service Menu White Balance - Previously could only do RGB Gains - RGB Cuts too erratic. Now, not the case with 5 - RGB Cuts now can be calibrated with no problems.
Greyscale definite improvement
Calman 4 CMS calibration had a terrible time with Yellow and Magenta. No problem found with 5.
Problems: Erratic hand shaking with my iScan Duo as my Pattern Source. Worked most of the time, other times, like a stubborn child, wanted to stay put and not change the patterns no matter how many times mouse was clicked on a Greyscale Pattern.
Also, occassionaly, like a stubborn child, refused to stop calibrating, and the Stop had to be clicked several times before getting the message to STOP! Low Greyscale levels and High.
CMS - first time doing the Series check - only White Icon showed up. Rest of Colours missing. When I started calibrating - Colours weren't showing up. Shutting down 5, and restarting, then worked OK.
CMS: Will have to read over the tutorial on this as there seems to be alot going on in the various screens that I'm not quite comprehending. Makes it harder when only having Colour and Tint calibration controls and no Hue.
