New Pioneer 1026-K owner (Futureshop in Canada version of the 1021 I believe).
After many hours of manual study and fiddling, I finally was able to get Airplay on Zone2 while playing the HD PVR through the main zone.
My problem is that my iPOD Touch volume controls the MAIN volume and not Zone 2 volume. I tired setting the AV from the front panel to Zone 2 and the Ipod still controls the main volume.
If I use the Remote and Select push the "Zone2" button, the master volume on the remote will control Zone 2.
I can't find anyway to control the volume in Zone 2 on Airplay except via the Master Volume using the remote. Running back into the house to fiddle with the AVR to change the volume outside makes no sense .
Also, If the kids are playing music in the backyard on outdoor speakers in Zone2, they effectively are controlling the volume of my wife's movie downstairs. Lots of opportunity for both error and mischief :-)
I have not tried the AVControl App to see if it has a zone2 - master volume control. If I need to do that, then I may as well give up.
The kids and their friends are all wifi'd into our system and this is too tempting to goof.
Other option is to simply go with Speaker B setting and tell my wife to read a book when the kids arrive.
(anyone know a good divorce lawyer ?)
Thanks.
