Hey all,
I have a pair of Definitive bp2000's that up until recently I was running through an old school Onkyo tx-830 (left channel started cutting in and out). A friend of mine gave me a JVC RX-D205 to fill in but tonight when I was setting it up, I couldn't get any sound out of the subs in my bp2000's. The bp2000's have three connections in the back (highs, mids, sub) that I have bridged together (I don't have a crossover to hook them all up independently). When connected to the Onkyo, this setup worked fine. I just hooked the left and right channels up, turned on the sub amps (in the bp2000's) and poof, it all worked. For some reason though, this does not work when setting it up this way through the JVC. I turned off all surround sound settings on the JVC thinking that maybe it was trying to send the sub signal somewhere else (not the front left and right) but that didn't do anything. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated!
