I have been a lurker for about a year or so. I finally decided to post up an intro, and a some of my set-up.
Sharp LC60E79U 60" LCD
Onkyo HT-R500 (5.1) / (old package from Circuit City)
Klipsch 5.1 speakers Center channel located under the TV behind covered door, 2 front channels also behind covered door. The rears are mounted to the ceiling and wired thru the attic.
Klipsch Sub RW-12D
PS3
ATT U-Verse (Fiber Line, Cat5 thru the house, no connectivity issues)
Running Optical Audio from U-Verse and PS3 as the Onkyo is non-HDMI receiver.
HDMI for Video to the TV

Future plans:
Wall mount the Sharp, and remove the large old style large "72 inch hole" entertainment center.
Re-position/ stack all other components to visually match.
