Does anyone else have this problem?

So here I am, watching a movie with the wife at 3 in the morning. All of a sudden my phone starts vibrating. I pause the movie and my alarm is going off and it's the central station calling. Everything is fine, but apparently the glass breaking on screen is loud/realistic enough to set off my glass break detectors. For those curious, it was the scene in Hugo with the train.

I was contemplating Klipsch Jubilee's when I have my new HT built vs the 4722's that you have... You may have just convinced me otherwise...

You need to tell ADT they need to step their game up or offer you a discount for all of these false alarms.

What movie was it? I'm going to reactivate mu home alarm and report back...

Not said it was 'Hugo'.

Yup, I can't have any in the house. WOTW used to set mine off every time at reference when the pod emerges and starts shooting all the glass in the buildings. I've since got rid of them. My alarm company wanted to charge me MORE to not have the glass breakers installed. I laughed and went with another company that very instant.

Fortunately I did the install myself and have a good system. I had the system armed to stay which is how its set when we are normally sleeping, but we ended up watching a movie instead. I just have to rember to disarm it before watching a movie.

You should move the glass sensors to the "away" program. Your house could get cleaned out during a particularly loud movie. Especially if the bad guys are lurking around here....

LOL! I had something similar happen to me also. Fortunately, the alarm was not armed at the time. I was listening to music and walked by the alarm control panel. It was not armed, but the sensor chime was enabled so I could hear when a sensor was triggered. Turns out my subs were setting off my window impact sensors. I've since turned off the sensor chimes and know not to arm the system when I turn up the system loud.

You guys should integrate your HT into your home alarm... A 130db 20Hz since wave seems like it would be a great theft deterrent.
