I have an older receiver for a home audio system and in the past i had some issues with it not turning on. Well its been working for a good month or two with good quality of audio. However, it has now decided to stay on and not turn off without playing any music and i am not able to change the source or anything. The lights are on and thats about it. I unplug it and it turns off but once plugged back in it turns on automatically... Not sure what i could do exactly to fix this or maybe it is just shot. Could possibly take it somewhere to be repaired but not sure of anyone around here and i dont really want to spend an arm and a leg to get it repaired when i could just buy a new one...
The model is a Pioneer SA-1280 with all of the original components.
