I currently have a 4k budget. I need the best setup for the money. The room is 14x25 and I currently own a SVS sub that I think should be fine for the future. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

what are you looking for 2.0,2.1, 5.1, 7.1 ? is this for music? tv/movies? gaming? how far from tv or screen willyou be seated?

5.1 is what I am looking for but the surrounds are the least important. I am about 11 away from the tv. This will be for TV, Movies and Music. Importance in that order.

Thanks,
Darkstar

with theese little info there is no way to tell you which setup could be good or not.

what you want... stereo, homecinema.... only speakers or other components too (amp, processor)?
which SVS sub you have?
What does the room looks like and can you use the complete room?

are you also looking for something to power them (avr for example) in this budget

I am only looking for speakers I have a high end 7.1 receiver already. As for the sub I have the PC12-PLUS subwoofer.

fwiw, i'd look into some chase home theater sho-10's these are high efficent so they will give you some good sound in that size room

what about the picture... have you a screen (maybe acoustic transparent) or LCD?

where in the room are you sitting (long wall, short wall ... middle of the room?)
How loud you want to listen to movies or music?

then I would first recommend a second sub... first of all because you probably sitting in the middle on the short wall and a second sub would give a big improvement of Quality(!) and a bit more volume too.

one recommendation for that room size and nearly exactly budget

KEF R700 (front floorstanding)
KEF R300 (rear bookshelf)
KEF R600c (Center)
