Micca M-Play HD - multichannel audio through digital output

Hello!
I have problem with playing multichannel audio files. The output is set to RAW, but the to the receiver goes only 2-channel signal.
I have tried with multichannel AAC, FLAC, WMV etc.. WavPack can't play at all. On the other hand movies with DTS and Dolby digital are playing excellent 5.1 sound through Digital Out.
The receiver is Harman Kardon AVR 3000(without HDMI support).
The chip is Realtek RTD1055.

This is the correct behavior, since when you set it to RAW, the player will simply output whatever the audio track bitstream happens to be. If it is multi-channel AAC, FLAC, or WMV, then the receiver likely doesn' t know how to decode those streams. Receiver does understand DTS and Dolby, so those audio tracks are played without issue.

Thank you very much for the answer!smile.gif
Why does the receiver encode only front channels?
Is there a way to overcome this issue, other than
encoding my multichannel music in DTS, or buying a new player with 6ch analog output?
