There is much excitement in this case over essentially nothing. I remember when the laserdisc came out and there was all kinds of discussion of this until the frames were posted on a board I frequented at the time. They also showed there was nothing really there to see unless you had an extremely vivid imagination. Much ado about not much.

The degree to which the original frames were "naughty" is debatable. What is not debatable is that the original animators intentionally drew in gags (such as Baby Herman's hand up Jessica's dress) that the studio later edited out - and rather crudely so, in that example. Herman's whole arm mysteriously vanishes in that scene, and it looks awful.
Whether you think this is a big deal or not is up to you, but some of us would prefer that the Blu-ray contain the original version.
