Tuba HT can't play low frequencies.

Ive been trying to work out some kinks with my tuba ht subwoofer. I have a double baffle installed because the cone was hitting plywood. Whenever I try to play anything 30hz or lower, the driver and double baffle just shake like crazy and produce zero clean output. If i push the edges of the second baffle down with all my force, it cleans up some of the sound. Should i screw in the outer edges of the second baffle to the first, in addition to the screws holding the driver down? It also makes a sqeeking sound sometimes. All of this was tested with the access pannel off and duct seal around everything for a perfect seal.

No voids. It's barley audible but i think it has to do with not being able to tighten everything down.

Everything internally seems to be ok. It's just the driver mounting and baffle that are giving me problems.

Ok i think i discovered the main problem. After finally getting the driver mounted correctly, something inside the box is rattling pretty badly. I can't find anything by reaching my hand through the mouth so how would i go about cutting off one of the sides? Im terrified to do this.

Yeah ill try to upload some pics in a little. But i basically bought a 15'' baffle off amazon and glued it to my existing baffle as a baffle doubler and it sounds pretty solid to me. Screwed the driver down and everything looks good in that area. I glued the the side pannel by putting a ton of PL on every pannel then putting a bunch of bricks and clamps to hold it down.

The mouth is putting out some nice airflow but I can definitely hear something rattling that shouldn't be inside.

Ok so today I isolated where the rattling is coming from. Seems to be the top front. Whenever I sit on the top, rattling is reduced but not eliminated. So instead of drilling in screws in an attempt to hold the mystery panel down, I cut off the entire side panel that has the access hole. Thing is, everything looks good internally. All areas have generous amounts of glue and feel totally sturdy, so im not sure what is causing the rattling. My thoughts are that it's panel #8 (to those who are familiar with this build). Any ideas?
