Same 12"sub, same price, which is better?

I just found three 12" subs sold in same price.

Jamo SUB 650, Klipsch Sub-12HG and JBL ES250PBK

which one is better for Music/Move half half?

I would prefer the JBL from this three, because it has front fire chassis which gives more flexibility and is mostly better for music. But the JBL has too a port, so has much more punch then the Jamo for movies.
Relying on the specs, the JBL has too a little more amp power then the others.

because looks like the Jamo is a sealed sub, will it be better that the port sub?

there are quite many discussions about pro/con sealed/vented.

you have more punch with a port, which is important for movies. Not needed for music that much. But lack of precision is mostly not as big as oftend said.
The best way to find out, which sub of both is best, is to buy them both and send one back after testing.

Then you know, if you will need the extra gauge of the port or if it annoy you while listening to music.

sealed sounds good. I like the power of ported boxes, but sometimes you get annoying port noise. people say that sealed subs sound cleaner and tighter, but require more power to slam. the other day amazon had 12 inch jbl powered sub for 200 for daily deals. i saw it to late. some jbl subs are having problems being unreliable after two to three years with the amps in them though. some people say thatthe power supply in the jbl subs isn't big enough

I think the movie like 'Lord of Ring' is seldom. most movies are not so strong.For me, maybe a more musical, clearity is more important than punch.

when can we see the 200 deal again? tongue.gif Unreliable maybe a good problem. at least, I want to use it about 5 years.

if I see a good deal on amazon or somewhere else like newegg etc I will try to let you know. When I saw the jbl on sale, it said the promotional price expired and so many people had already claimed it. I was out of town, so I didn't see it till later in the night. it was one of those one day only deals unfortunately.

Watch Newegg for specials on the Klipsch RW-12D, which is a Klipsch Reference series sub. It has been $299 quite frequently over the last six months to a year. Subscribe to their mailing list to get promos if you are interested.

I am looking at Jamo sub650 to pair with my 10" dual opposed sealed sub in a 2600cuft room. Reviews are hard to find on Jamo subs. Not looking for ultimate extension but decent performance & out put primarily in 25-65hz region with both movies & music.

I really doubt if sub 650 could add performance with a 10" dual opposed sealed sub.

two diffrent subs in one room could work (very seldom), but could either get a major pain in the ass because of to much problems.
I would recommend using two times the same sub. Add a second sub as you already have to your setup.
