What should I do?

Is the St30 dark ? dimmish? am I going to see a massive jump in PQ?

No I have an NX720 Sony LED that I love .

I'm looking for a 2nd TV preferably a Plasma.

What is the story on the ST30? New? Used? Abused?

Warranty? Return Period?

That is one heck of a cost difference: unless there is something WRONG with the ST30, it would be difficult to argue against it.

We had 3 60ST30s: the first two, early- to mid-2011 builds, had green blobs and pink tint & were returned.
The last panel - a late year build - was easily the best of the lot, and settled in pretty nicely by around 350 to 450 hours - EXCEPT for an Increasing Pink Tint, something that plagued at least a small number of 2011 panels.
We ended up having that set swapped for a 60ST50: the overall PQ on the 50 IS better, but I wouldn't be willing to pay an extra $900 for it!
