Totem Rainmaker or the old Rogers Studio 1?

Hi,
I have $700 budget for a new pair of speakers. I have come up with 2 choices , 1 is the Totem Rainmaker (which is 2nd but still very new) the other is the vintage Rogers Studio 1. The 2 speakers are far from my place and I have no chance to go there to try their sounds. What I can do is to search for comment in Internet and I found that Rogers Studio 1 sounds really awesome but that is very old one (around 1980?). Considering the age of speaker, the difference in sound quality, I wonder is it worth to try the hi-end vintage rather than the entry - level Totem Rainmaker?

Many thanks!
