If the same chasis are used again and assuming cost recoupment over the two year chasis life, using its desgin for free in the third year could result in a MSRP lowering. There is intense price pressure from one manufacturer to another so if I were in charge, I might ask can we make it better on the same chasis and then can we price it cheaper because of the chasis cost savings?

Good points, however I think staying with the same basic design and adding a few tweaks, will yeild minor improvements as the new specs so far seem to indicate.
Few weeks left!
