HD2000 Sandybridge + Maranze 5002 = small screen

Thread Starter
I have a sandy bridge i2500 computer. I connect my Vizio 46" LCD to my Maranz SR5002 and also the cable box. With the cable box thru the SR5002 there is no issue.
I have the mother board set to multiple displays in the bios.

But the HDMI output from the computer set to extended display gives a 42" screen on the 46" TV. The Intel HD driver reconizes the second display as an SR5002, screen resolution is 1920x1080. The scalling is correct for 16:9, but it just doesn't fill the TV, so I basically have a 46" LCD TV for cable and a 42" LCD TV thru the computer both plugged into the SR5002 .

This wasn't a problem with my AMD 6850 video card but the constant driver updates/bugs had me pull this card, I don't game and was hoping the sandy-bridge HDMI would work but the only means to get a 46" picture is via clone display which is impractical for me.

Any advice appreciated.

Do you have multiple monitors? I'm not understanding why you have it set to extended.

It should go HTPC HDMI>Marantz>TV

What is the first display? A monitor? If so try disabling it. If there are no other displays and its hooked up like I said the marantz should be your
only display device. Should also be audio device.

Did you go into the intel driver and try to adjust the scaling or overscan? Also make sure you have the proper setting in your tv. Something like just scan or native. Not sure what vizio calls it.

overscan man. Overscan

Go into the intel control settings and expand it.

same idea with the AMD control center BTW... you probably did this once with the card which is why it did not do it. Just it is easier to find the control in the AMD control panel.

If you open the intel graphics control there is a setting in there that will expand to fit the screen.
