Poor uniformity on Samsung PN51D550

My year old pn51d550 has started to show a darker center cloud in pure blacks and a grey soft horizontal band across pure white. The grey area in the blacks will sparkle briefly when the set is turned on. I had applied the logic board update to fix fbr when we all got out hands on it a few months ago because I had it bad.

Does anyone know what is happening and if I can fix it? It's definitely not burned in images in seeing.

I have a similir problem. Whenever I turn on my PN51D550 there is black cloud in the center of the screen. As the images from the antenna come, the cloud starts to disappear until it is gone (1 minute tops).

Then when I am watching a dark scene and it switches to a bright one, all the pixels on that cloud area remain purplish and begin to fade (10 seconds) until all the bright colors are OK.

Advice anyone??
