going senile...setting up Shelving filter on DCX2496?

I'm trying to add a shelving filter (LS 6dB) from the front display, and for the life of me, I cannot find how mad.gif

I know I'm going old and probably senile, but can anyone point me to how from the front display? dont have my USB/Serial cable so I can't do it from my laptop at the moment.

Select which output your sub is connected to (1-6) and press the corresponding button once (bottom right buttons .... 6 of them)

Then press Page until you see the "EQ" page for that output

Then press PARAM which will take you to "NR". You can use the knob/dial to move between all the stored EQ adjustments you've made there.

Press PARAM again once you're on the right one (whichever you want to adjust), and it will bring you to the "Type"

Select LP (using the knob again) for the low shelf filter, then adjust the frequency, gain and slope accordingly (keep flipping around using PARAM and the knob to adjust things)

Hope that helps!

Oh ... and press the power button to ensure it is on ... tongue.gif

thanks pbc!

I'll give it a twirl tonite. I replaced my DEQ with the DCX, and I would've thought it would be the same interface, etc, but noooooooo....leave it to ze germans to make things complicated tongue.gif

It's actually quite easy to make adjustments once you get the handle on the knobs/param/page button. I never bothered figuring out the PC interface, didn't have a cable long enough and figured if I couldn't sit back at my couch to change things, might as well just walk up to the unit!
