What is a good lower-cost 70-80 inch TV?

I have a friend that doesn't have perfect eyesight, sits about 15 to 20 feet away from the TV, and want's a new one. Going from an older 37 inch LCD. She has just purchased a 2 foot high, five foot long cabinet for it to sit on. I've suggested that she buy the largest panel that she can get, probably a 70 or 80 inch. I know she doesn't want to go overboard on price, being somewhat conservative with her money. She really could use a 70-80 inch though. Whether it is Plasma, LCD, or back/edge lit LED isn't an issue. It's more of a price issue. But want one that has a reputation for lasting. I've heard that Visio isn't a good brand to buy for build quality.

Here's a CNET review of a good moderately priced 70 inch : http://reviews.cnet.com/flat-panel-tvs/sharp-lc-70le640u/4505-6482_7-35123265.html

The Sharp Aquos LC-70LE735U is another viable option - it is reasonably priced (I'm not sure if I found the lowest price but it's $2500-$3000 if you look around), and has outstanding black levels/colors. Here is a review:

The Sharp mentioned in the above post is slightly cheaper, so it could also be a good choice.

Another option is the Sharp 80" LC-80LE632U. Very few problems are reported, the picture is decent, and the discounted price is reasonable.
