Official Benq W7000 setting

Hey CurtisHD,

Thank you for posting your settings. I figured it would be good to have other settings too, so I am posting the two I found online: Projectorreviews.com & Hometheater.com. I was unable to find detailed calibration settings on Projectorcentral.com. I am currently testing out Hometheater.com's settings.

Cinema 50
Brightness 51
Color 50
Tint 50
Gamma 2.4

Color Temp is Normal for all but Dynamic, which is Lamp Native.
Brilliant Color is ON by default for all modes except Cinema and Standard.
Standard mode is in Eco lamp mode by default.

Lamp Mode=Normal (unless noted otherwise)
All other settings at default (untouched)
Auto Iris is Off for all measurements.
Zoom at mid range

Cinema (on User 1)

Offset (I think he meant Gain here)
R = 57
G = 50
B = 49

Gain (I think he meant Offset here)
R = 252
G = 253
B = 253

Sharpness: 5 (When I did the setup, my Sharpness only goes to two, so I thought maybe he meant the Flesh Tone was five, no response yet confirming my inquiry)

has anyone had any more experience/impressions on the settings in this thread? what about 3d settings? thanks, all!

what would be recommended settings for a living room with white ceiling, white furniture, white screen of gain 1 - 106 inches (the pj is not filling the entire screen ~2 inches from both sides - unfortunately, this is the farthest I could mount my projector)

1. day time viewing of sports
2. day time viewing of movies
3. night time viewing of movies.
4. day/ night 3D

Thanks in advance. Just got the projector ceiling mounted 20-30 mins back and very excited about the brightness and colors. Should there be different calibrations for dark/ bright movies?
