Is the Slingbox Pro-HD right for me?

I've been doing as much reading up as I can on this subject, so apologies if I missed a post that answers my question. My job has me traveling a lot lately. I am going to be missing a lot of pro and college football games and playoff baseball games. I have a spare DTV HR-24 that I can connect a Slingbox to, but wondering if the quality is worth it or if I am going to be annoyed with the quality.

At home I would connect the Slingbox to a wireless bridge. I consistently get 4Mbps upstream, but I cannot find anywhere on the Slingbox site to see if that is adequate to stream HD content. Primarily I will be watching content on my laptop and a Gen 1 iPad.

Is the Pro-HD the best choice? Ready to pull the trigger, but aprehensive.

Get the solo advantage of pro HD is u can do 3 devices IE stb Blu ray and something else. I've been using Slingbox for 6 years and its one the best devices I own

The other limitation of the Solo is it does NOT stream in HD. Only the Slingbox Pro HD does that. (But the PQ is still very good!)

The Solo is on sale this week at Best Buy for $99, which is a great deal!

The solo will take an hd input, but right in your link it says it down converts it to sd for streaming. It does not stream in hd.

Wow I never even noticed I stream thru my galaxy nexus and two tablets and have MHL'D out to TV's in hotel rooms and on sales floors at a few TV's (I'm kinda diehard about my basketball) and I've never had a complaint about PQ
