I just noticed when I click on a in-line image (not a link or thumbnail) the page goes to that 'dim' mode (for lack of a better term) with that circle icon in the middle, but nothing happens after. No full size image. I click again and it returns to the normal view of the thread.
The problem seems to be all the "stuff" that loads after the actual material parts of the page load as in ads and whatever else is loaded that isn't visual. The pages have been hanging (for some time) with the message in the address bar "completed request to xxxxxxx.xxx", but the page still shows that it is missing something. I have to click 'stop' to clear that, but then the problem exists.
I also notice there are two types of 'views'; one is a new page opens with the photo, the other is a pop-up box with the image on the same page in the foreground. What/why is there a difference between the two ways the image is displayed?
