Keanu Reeves' long-awaited "Bill & Ted" sequel is moving forward with filmmaker Dean Parisot as director.

Reeves confirmed in March that another installment of the comedy franchise is in the works, revealing that he and co-star Alex Winter have a "good script" and were just waiting for a start date.

I enjoy these movies too... yes, even the second one.biggrin.gif But Keanu and Alex aren't spring chickens anymore. Wonder how they're gonna work their age into the story? Did Ted's dad finally send him to that military school in Alaska? Is Bill living in a van down by the river? And who's gonna play Rufus since Carlin has passed away? So many questions, so few answers.

How about, after growing up and becoming respectable, they ended up with kids who have baggie pants, ghetto rap, etc. (modern version of what they once were)?

Or Bill & Ted are "living in a van, down by the river" and discover they had fathered Love Children way back when.
Their do-rag offspring decide to come look up their daddies.
Sudden Pops become alarmed at the state of decay of the kiddies and try an Intervention to save their mortal souls by teaching 'em PROPER slacker/stoner ways of grace.

See?
Being a screenwriter ain't tuff....tongue.gif

Bill & Ted, both having won a large lottery but are suffering from midlife crises while not doing much more than getting high each day, try to find meaning in their lives. They buy an expensive sports car from a kooky old car dealer played by Brian Doyle-Murray. The car is not what it seems and transports Bill & Ted to various third-world countries where they are compelled to aide people in need. Hilarity and light-hearted cheer ensues in their efforts as Brian Doyle-Murray's character guides them in spirit.

Nope. I completely made-up that synopsis. Although, it probably wouldn't make for too bad of a Bill & Ted flick. biggrin.gif

Keanu Reeves Talks BILL AND TED 3, Plot Finds the Characters “Crushed by Responsibility”
Quote:
In a recent interview, Keanu Reeves (who is approaching 50 if you can believe that) dropped a few plot details about the in-development Bill & Ted 3. We previously reported that Ed Solomon (Men in Black) and Chris Matheson’s (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure) script had been finished up and Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest) was attached to helm. We already knew that Reeves and Alex Winter would be reprising their roles, but now we have an idea of what they’ll be doing in the threequel and the role that time travel plays. Hit the jump to see what Reeves had to say.

I dunno.

I do KNOW if the Powers-That-Be had any brains at all, they would check this forum from time-to-time.
There are a lot of bright people around here who come up with terrific ideas and excellent critiques.
