Last night when the wife turned the set on most of the screen was dark and there was bright flashes coming from random places originating from the bottom edge of the screen. Happened for a good couple of minutes.
She recorded at least 2 minutes of it with her phone. Anybody seen or heard of anything like this? The tv will be 2 years old Oct 1 and our extended warranty will expire. We have a tech coming out of tomorrow the17th, but having spent four years working on electronics in the Air Force I know its going to be difficult to troubleshoot something if the problem cannot be replicated by the tech. I definitely do not want the tech to come out and do nothing as I really dont want to see my tv die on me right after my warranty expires.
Anybody have any suggestions? Again I have video I can email if anyones interested in seeing the issues. Thanks.
