Veho Muvi HD10 Uploading

I was wondering how i correctly upload the files from Veho Muvi HD10 to my computer. I originally just copy and pasted the files from my camera but it seems like i am doing something wrong, because when i watch the videos on the camera's screen the videos are perfect and they are in full HD. But when i put them on the computer the videos are shaky and they skip every few seconds. I tried to fix this by converting the files to .avi and that made the skipping go away , but the videos were still not in HD and they were still shaky. So do you have any idea what is going on?

p.s. ski season is also coming soon. anyone know the best way to mount my camera for skiing action?

You didn't say anything about your computer. So, this is a guess. There is probably nothing wrong with your files and how you are copying them to your computer. Many that complain about jerky playback of HD, and especially 1080p HD, find the solution is getting a different viewing program. If it is a Windows computer, "Splash" is a popular one. There is a free version called "Splash Lite". http://mirillis.com/en/products/splash.html. If it is an Apple computer, I don't have a clue.
