Schwarzenegger's The Last Stand

Never heard of it but I'd love to see Arnie make a real comeback to action films. Looking forward to Expendables 2 this weekend.

Arnie's time is over, but depend on Olliewood to grab a few more bucks if there's anything to grab
from the antique action star. Should be obvious, but let's not forget the order of the day from people
who refuse to sell new stories in favor of what made money in the past.

Here is a trailer for it. The director is South Korean director Kim Jee-woon’s first English-language movie.

+10..but wow politics must have been stressful cause he's aging really really fast it's starting show a lot and make up can't help him now. It's too bad..I just hope he can hang in there as we can use a guy like him for solid action. I keep thinking there could have been so many great films that would have been made by now like True lies 2 or another Terminator had he not dabble in politics and stuck with his best asset which are films.

Ah-nold's forays into both politics and philandering were born of hubris and vanity. He believed his own hype, and wanted even more.

I'll watch it just because I like Kim Jee-woon’s other films; especially "I Saw the Devil".

Perhaps it's a case like A History of Violence, where he changed his name and identity to hide from a mysterious past?

It looks like another slyly funny Arnold adventure. I'm not quite ready to say that I will see it in the theater but I might. What the hell, at my nearby movie palace, tickets are only $3.50 on Mondays.

Hit the nail right on the head. And as well as many in wall st, business, politics manifested in the last 5 years that brought the US in it's deep woes and more will surface from American Greed.

Hope he learned something and will transfer into better films.

That's just wrong! I pay $11 each time I'm going to a movie, and $8.50 on tuesdays... Don't get me started on IMAX prices...

Sad. Now we get Adrian Brody.

He was excellent in the Pianist.

And The Jacket... But Brody in a Predator movie, mmmm dunno The last film wasn't all bad but he was miscast.

He rules in those razor commercials too.

He wasn't too bad but they could of maybe used the Rock ( Dwayne Johnson ).

Hahah! Lol.

I think that Adrian Brody is a fine actor and generally doesn't get enough credit for his talent, his Oscar win notwithstanding. Nevertheless, I have not been able to accept him as an action hero. Sorry but Brody in that kind of role just doesn't work, at least not for me.

No love for "The Last Stand" gang? Taking the boys to it tonight with some free-passes. Hoping it is at least Schwarzenegger-entertaining:)

I will rent the BD.

I really want to see it. A pal, who understands how awesome Arnie is, said it was really good. Alas, with no sitter this one will have to wait until disc.

It opened outside of the top 5. It's a disaster. LionsGate will have to write the entire production off. ouch!

I am going on Tuesday. No one will go with me.

There's no place for these types of movies anymore. Dredd was phenomenal and made nothing.

This one going straight to clearance bin and will soon be on Starz. The trailer doesn't bode well and the reviews have not been good although the writers you can tell still have respect for what Arnold has done and show quite a bit of restraint but when it's this bad there's no covering it up.

Just like a pro athlete who's been out on couple years from injury, it's going to take a few more movies until we see any of the old Arnold. And unless, he hits the gym and really commits himself we might never see it again.

I, for one, am convinced he will. It's something that, unlike governing the third largest economy in the world, he knows how to do and is experienced at doing it. Long, tough hours at the gym + a proper, medically monitored steroid & HGH program (he can talk to Lance if he needs some tips, and Lance is going to need the dough) can do for him what it's done for Sly. I promise you -- Arnie will be back!

Everybody said the ATeam remake sucked and they were wrong. So I've got hopes for Arnie as well. The new Stallone movies looks cool too. Old style action flicks are just not 'in' now because higher forms of art like comics are.

Prime example would be JCVD. He fell off and came back huge with In Hell and Wake of Death.
