Titanic: 100 years in 3D

Thread Starter
Being into all things Titanic (almost) I pre-ordered this 3dBD. It arrived Tuesday.
In a nutshell:
Although the 3d footage is compelling, it is too often repeated when being woven into the story. Still, they are more interesting than what we have seen in the past 2D images.
Some old B&W still images of the Titanic are converted to 3d, an interesting effect. Because of the size of the ROV there
is no video of deep inside the wreck.
This is from the same company that gave us "WWII in 3D."
I recommend this for Titanic buffs or anyone interested in seeing a practical use of 3d videography.

For all those in the UK, this is on Sky 3D tonight at 10pm. Part of the 'Free 3D" week.

Not a bad programme, but as OP said quite repetitive.

Don this is the wrong thread for Titanic BR. This is a different video. By the way after watching the Titanic first disc I went to the bathroom in the master bedroom to find out we were robbed during the movie watching. I had the volume turned up,drapes closed. My sliding doors were open so they opened the screen door and stole all my wifes gold and silver jewelry and my gun in the end cabinet. They probably entered from the channel behind us. So we will watch disc2 tonight.

That really sucks. My house was broke into twice, so I know how violated you must feel. I really hate thieves, they can all go to (you know where).

Very sorry to hear that and thanks for the heads up on the incorrect thread. Have to see what I can do about that.
