Can anyone with experience of this unit help with the questions below:
Is Hi-res FLAC supported? (eg. 24/96)
Can these units read directly from a Windows share? (640GB is not enough for my collection)

Don't know about the hires FLAC - but generally FLAC is supported. And yes, the Elite can read a Windows/NAS network share (which is one of big feature gains from the MPS4).
