What would you do???

I am trying to decide whether to go with a 5.1 or 5.2 setup for my dedicated home theater room (15x18). I have 2 options...

Option One-5.1 with a BIC F12 for the sub

Or

Option Two-5.2 with 2 BIC v1020's for the subs.

Only looking to use for HT (no music). Which option would you go with?

Ht only? Probably option 1 because you won't realize the benefit of 2 subs as much without music. Not to say you won't realize it with ht only, but it would seem that is all your budget is allowing.

how many seats are you trying to provide with max bass ? One sub will do fine for 1 seat, mebbe 2, if you sit really close... wink.gif, 2 subs will provide better coverage across multiple seating positions.

I will have 2 rows of 3 seats.
