Which HDMI cable

Well I finally have most of my equipment for my newbie theater room. I am only missing an HDMI cable. I need a 25 ft cable and do not want to pay $200 at the boxstores. Can someone tell me where I can get an quality inexpensive HDMI cable? I know nothing about cables, so could someone tell me what I should look for? i have an epson 705 if that matters. Thanks.

Any certified high speed HDMI cable will do the job. Many around here swear by monoprice.

Call AVS/email (or click on their icon on the right side of your screen) or Monorprice, they also have an icon on the right.

Also go through the archives of this forum. You'll see a lot of discussion about which cable to choose.

As Colm said, you need a certified "High Speed" HDMI cable. By "High Speed" we're not just saying get a fast cable. High Speed is a specific term used by HDMI to say the cable is certified to handle all HDMI speeds. So any cable you purchase should have High Speed in the advertisement. Certified means the cable has been tested and approved by the certified laboratory for HDMI.

Monoprice has these types of cables as do many other places. You should pay no more than $40 for 25 feet of High Speed cable and probably much less.

Is it certified for that length and do you get the certificate (downloadable or viewable)? Meets standards doesn't necessarily mean that it has been certified for those standards at that length.
