Recommended TV models for Sports?

Guys,

Can I have your help to identify a shortlist of TVs to check out please? My requirements in order of priority are:

1. Must produce the best possible quality on SD sports streams from PC (note I could upgrade to 720 streams if this is a deal breaker)
2. Must be 50 inches +
3. Great HD and SD OTA channels viewing
4 Great Xbox 360 viewing.

5. VGA input (used because my dedicated music PC has no HDMI output)


So far I tried a GT50 Plasma which wasn't great with the SD feeds in 1 or SD OTA channels (3), an LG 47LS4600 (120Hz) which lagged badly watching sports (1), and a VT30 Plasma which had a great picture but lacked a VGA input (5)

At this point I could go back to the VT30, but I'm wondering if there are any other TVs that meet the requirements but also
1. Have VGA input
2. Do not have VGA input but could compete with the VT30 Plasma for my requirements.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Thanks haritere plenty of options there. Ranick - couldn't justify the extra cost for the VT50 - my understanding is the SD processing isn't any better than GT50 its just the black levels are better.
