Any deals on the Samsong E6500?

That's the best price there is right now. I just bought the E550 the other day from Amazon for the $1297. I thought hard about the 6500, but I need the swivel stand for my setup.

Samsung just doesn't seem to be budging on prices, it's got to be hurting their sales. Even dropping prices $100 for a week spurs more followup sales.

This year Samsung doesn't seem to allow dealer sale discounts so far, maybe later in the year.
For now the only deals I see are like at Best Buy offering a free Blu-Ray player or small TV with a larger screen Samsung HDTV.

Samsung plasma sales in the US is likely very low.

The 60inch ST50 is killing it and only the E550 is in top 100. Doubt the could be doing any better in b&m

I think if they dropped the price on the E6500 to match (or even under cut) the ST50 could seriously increase their sales.
