Hello Guys and Gals,
This is my first post on the forums. I am amazed at the amount of info on here, but after searching for about an hour I still cant find the answer for my issue.
I have an LG 55lk520 55" TV in my bedroom. When I first installed the tv and ran a channel scan, the TV automatically allowed my TV channel to only display the HD signal instead of the standard. For example it would automatically display HD channel 3-1 and filter out 3-0. Whenever there was an HD channel instead of the standard definition verion it would do this. I recently had the power company come out and change my power meter. I went and rescanned the channels and now all standard signals are with standard, HD with HD. My tv will not automatically filter/change to the HD signal, meaning for channel surfing I am constantly changing my channel input method. I was wondering if anyone has experienced this too. I tried resetting my tv, but I cant figure out how my TV went from doing this automatically for me to not doing it at all.
Setup is simply the TV and a regular cable signal. My cable should be all standard def while local channels should be HD.
Again, any help would be awesome, LG support had no answers for me and said my TV should have never had automatically put the HD and standard signals together in the first place before the power panel was replaced.
